Making a donation online to support your favorite charitable fund(s) is quick and easy through our PayPal account.  Click on the “Donate,” button below to get started.



How to make my donation online:

  1. Click on the “Donate” button.
  2. Enter in your donation amount and personal information. (You don’t have to have a PayPal account to donate and can use your credit card.)
  3. Click on “Review Donation and Continue.”
  4. If you are donating to a specific fund, click on the small box with the plus sign next to the “Add special instructions to the seller,” and enter in the name of the fund.  If you are donating to multiple funds, list the name of each fund with the designated amount next to it.

 

* All credit/debit card donations are subject to a 2.2% processing plus 30¢ transaction fee.

** Each donor who enters their own credit/debit card information directly online is entering his/her data into a secure web portal provided by PayPal.  The Solomon Valley Community Foundation assumes no liability for credit/debit card information provided by the donor to a third party.

November is Match Month!

  Solomon Valley Community Foundation is kicking off November MATCH Month! We have been challenged by the Dane Hansen Foundation to raise $50,000! It is a big task, but the benefits of growing our Community Impact Fund will pay off For Now and Forever! During November, every $1 donated to the Solomon Valley Community Foundation will be matched with a $1.50 from the Dane G. Hansen Foundation! Community foundation awards fall grants

Over $52,000 was awarded to charitable projects in Mitchell County during the Solomon Valley Community Foundation’s fall grant cycle. Grants were funded through the Dane G. Hansen Community Grant Fund and the Community Impact Fund for Solomon Valley. The following organizations received funding: City of Glen Elder/Waconda Baseball, $6,000 for additions and improvements to enhance the baseball field. USD 272, $5,073 to support a Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) classroom at Lakeside Elementary School.
