GSCF Affiliate Program

The Greater Salina Community Foundation’s Affiliate Program provides a mechanism to build local philanthropy across north central Kansas. Affiliates receive financial and administrative services, marketing support, on-going training, and technical assistance from GSCF staff.

BELOIT, Kan.— The Solomon Valley Community Foundation is now accepting applications for fall grants. Online applications open July 1 and are due August 1, 2020. Last fall, a community foundation grant was awarded to the Hunter Economic Development Corporation to purchase a new community sign. Solomon Valley Community Foundation awards spring grants BELOIT, Kan.— During its spring grant cycle, the Solomon Valley Community Foundation awarded over $60,000 in grants to 23 projects throughout Mitchell County. The following organizations received funding: Mitchell County Community Foundation dba Leadership Class 2020, to cover the cost per person for ASIST training.Mitchell County Historical Society, to pay for part of the new security system hardware.North Central Kansas Technical College, for an indoor/outdoor public sound system for sound production and audio recording.Waconda Cultural Association, to host entertainers and purchase advertisement and equipment for the Wakonda Indian Festival.
