AMOUNT: Varies

CRITERIA: Applicants must be a graduate or a high school senior graduating from a school within one of the following Kansas counties: Mitchell, Cloud, Jewell, Republic, Clay, Lincoln, Washington, or Ottawa.

Applicant must plan to enroll full-time at a college, university, community college, or vocational/technical school in Kansas or Nebraska in the year the scholarship is to be applied. Applicant must demonstrate good work ethic and involvement in academics, extracurricular activities, and/or employment by submitting the following:

• Resume

• Letter of recommendation 

Applicant must submit an essay addressing their plans after completing their education program. All other factors being equal, preference shall be given to applicants who demonstrate financial need and/or plan to return to a county listed above.​

RENEWALS: Recipients can apply as part of the total applicant pool for the second year, consecutively. Scholarship can only be received for two years.
