Solomon Valley Community Foundation awards fall grants BELOIT, Kan.— During its fall grant cycle, the Solomon Valley Community Foundation awarded over $40,000 in grants to 12 projects throughout Mitchell County. Community foundation awards scholarships

Community foundation awards scholarships BELOIT, Kan.— The Solomon Valley Community Foundation has awarded over $2,000 in scholarships to area students for the upcoming academic year. This includes three scholarships that are being renewed for recipients from previous years. The Fine Arts Future Development Higher Education Scholarship is for graduating high school seniors in the Solomon Valley area, including Mitchell, Cloud, and Jewell Counties, who are pursuing a major in instrumental music or art. Tyler Long, Beloit, received a $600 scholarship, and Elizabeth Duvall, Concordia, received a $400 scholarship.
