ANNUAL CAMPAIGN: NOVEMBER
Every November, SVCF kicks off its annual Match Month campaign, a transformative initiative started by the Dane G. Hansen Foundation. This program maximizes the impact of local donations by offering matching funds, which have grown over the years from $1 per dollar raised to the current $2 match. In 2023, the Patterson Family Foundation joined the effort, contributing $70,000 in 1-to-1 funds. This campaign has significantly enhanced SVCF's granting capacity, fueling the growth of its Community Impact Fund and empowering donors and local impact.

Match Month allows donors to maximize their donations and amplifies their contributions, fostering connections and long-term philanthropic support for community needs.
FUND DEVELOPMENT
Matching opportunities significantly boost fundraising efforts, growing the foundation's resources to support local grant-making opportunities.

SVCF has been holding match month campaigns ever since the Dane G. Hansen Foundation rolled them out in 2016. To date these campaigns have generated over $620,000 in local donations and over $1.5M in total when factoring in the match from Hansen, and now the Patterson Family Foundations.
