Our Approach
PLANTING SEEDS TODAY, FOR THE GENERATIONS OF TOMORROW.
Since its founding, Solomon Valley Community Foundation has been guided by a clear and intentional focus; to create lasting impact through thoughtful, strategic efforts. Every step of our journey has been shaped by this focus and driven by the unwavering support of donors, nonprofits, and community members who share in our vision of a thriving and prosperous future for Mitchell County.

Trust and Connection Power Our Work

Our Donors
Our donors are at the heart of everything we do. It is their visions and passions that drive our work forward. Their generosity and commitment inspire us to approach each opportunity with thoughtfulness and care, ensuring that their goals and legacies are honored.
Through ongoing conversations, grant requests, and collaborative partnerships, we work closely with our donors to maximize the impact of their giving.

Our Nonprofits
Our nonprofit partners are key to the community's growth and progress, and we are committed to supporting their success in every way. By thoughfully aligning donor wishes with the needs of local nonprofits, we create opportunities for meaningful impact. Through grants, partnerships, and community development projects, we help strengthen their capacity to serve.

Our Communities
At the core of our mission is the belief that strong communities are built through collaboration and vision. By partnering with local leaders and organizations, we work to promote rural living and enhance the quality of life for all. Initiatives like Mitchell County Strong, Dream Big, and our recent work with Mitchell County youth focus on empowering and engaging those within our county. Through our work, we aim to inspire pride, foster opportunity, and create a brighter more vibrant future for the communities we call home.
