Solomon Valley Community Foundation (SVCF) is thrilled to announce the return of Give to Grow, scheduled 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday April 30th, at the Beloit Municipal Building. This one-day matching initiative is designed to boost visibility and long-term endowment growth growth for area nonprofits.

Thanks to the support of the Patterson Family Foundation, along with the growth from the foundation's Community Impact Fund and support from donors Keith and Debra Houghton, SVCF has doubled the matching pool from $25,000 to an impressive $50,000 for this year's Give to Grow event.

Community members from across Mitchell County are invited to join us for a day of giving, celebration, and community impact. More than 20 area nonprofits will be present, in addition to food trucks, hourly giveaways, refreshments, and more.

Donor contributions made during the event will be proportionately matched, up to 100% from SVCF's expanded $50,000 matching pool. Additionally, area businesses will sponsor hourly giveaways, giving attendees even more chances to support their favorite nonprofits.

Continuing our youth engagement initiative, all Mitchell County 5th graders from Beloit Elementary, St.John's, Lakeside, and Tipton Community School will be bussed in to experience philanthropy firsthand. Thanks to generous sponsorships from Guaranty State Bank and SMC Concrete & Construction, each student will receive $20 in Give to Grow monopoly money to donate to a nonprofit of their choice.

SVCF Executive Director, Julia Rabe, shared her enthusiasm for the event by saying, "We were blown away by the success of last year's Give to Grow event, and we can't wait to build on that momentum. Our area nonprofits provide invaluable services to our communities, and this initiative helps strengthen their missions while fostering a culture of philanthropy in Mitchell County."

If you are unable to attend in person but would like to participate, donations can be made online, by mail, or through an existing SVCF Donor Advised Fund. For more information, visit www.givetogrowmc.com or contact SVCF Executive Director Julia Rabe at julia@solomonvalleycf.org.
