Colleen Eberle

Executive Director

Colleen Eberle is the part-time director for the Solomon Valley Community Foundation.

Colleen is looking forward to the opportunity to work for the community foundation and hopes to increase community awareness through various marketing campaigns and donor outreach. She believes the Solomon Valley Community Foundation offers an amazing opportunity for local non-profits, community organizations and donors alike, and is excited for the opportunity to work with each of them to serve the communities of Mitchell County.

Originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota, Colleen graduated from Minnesota State University with a degree in Business Management and Marketing. She worked as an Event Coordinator in both sales and operations before marring Glen Elder native, Cole Eberle, in September of 2008. The couple spent the next five years living and working in various states including California, Colorado, Minnesota, and Nebraska.

Colleen explains, “Cole’s work within the photojournalism field led us all over and after the birth of our first son we were ready to settle down and find a place to call home. I couldn’t ask for a better location to raise a family. We are very grateful to live and work in North Central Kansas.”

The couple currently owns and operates Eberle Studios in Cawker City. They have two rambunctious boys, Easton 6 and Issac 2; and are excited to welcome the newest addition of the family later this fall.

Colleen currently serves on the board of Leadership Mitchell County, is the Chair of the LMC Alumni Committee, Treasurer of the Cawker City Community Club and member of the Glen Elder Auxiliary and Glen Elder Methodist Church.
