Solomon Valley Community Foundation Launches November Match Month with 3-to-1 Match Opportunity
This November, donations to the Solomon Valley Community Foundation’s Match Month campaign have the potential to triple in impact thanks to the generous support of the Dane G. Hansen and Patterson Family Foundations. During November, donations received have the opportunity to be matched 3-to-1 benefiting SVCF’s Community Impact Fund. This provides a unique opportunity for donors to maximize their contributions and contribute to SVCF’s local grant-making ability.
Whether it’s $5 or $500, every donation has the potential to make a big difference during Match Month. The 3-to-1 match is an incredible opportunity for both long-time supporters and new donors to see their contributions go further.
“We want to emphasize that you don’t have to give a lot to have a significant impact,” said SVCF Executive Director Julia Rabe. “Every dollar counts, and this year we’re especially encouraging new donors to get involved. Your gift, no matter the size, can help strengthen our local nonprofits and support projects that enhance the quality of life in Mitchell County.”
To kick off the campaign, SVCF will host a Match Month Kickoff Event on Friday, November 1st at the new Solomon Valley Office Suites (8 a.m. – 5 p.m.). Community members are invited to stop by, learn more about the match opportunity, and enjoy refreshments.
In addition, SVCF will host several community coffee events throughout November, offering further opportunities to meet foundation representatives and learn how to get involved:
● Wednesday, November 6th at the Tipton Community Center, 8:30 – 10:30 a.m.
● Thursday, November 7th at the SMC Concrete & Construction Conference Room in Cawker City, 9:00 – 10:00 a.m.
● Friday, November 15th at the Cunningham Fiber Conference Room in Glen Elder, 9:00 – 10:00 a.m.
All donations are tax-deductible and must be received during the month of November to be eligible for the 3-to-1 match. Gifts can be mailed to:
