SVCF Announces Dream Big 2.0 with $70,000 in Community Impact Grants

Solomon Valley Community Foundation is excited to launch Dream Big 2.0, a county-wide initiative offering $10,000 in non-competitive Impact Grants to all 7 incorporated towns in Mitchell County.

Mitchell Historical Society

With the Solomon Valley Community Foundation’s support, the historical society was able to purchase materials for flooring and trim that was installed in the fine arts and early learning area of the new museum complex.

Mitchell County Downtown

“We were able to kick off the fundraising for this project thanks to the community foundation. We raised over $26,000 total and a big start was this $3,000 grant,” said Rabe. “Our downtown sound system has made a very positive impact in our community.”
