The City of Beloit received grant funding from the community foundation to add two new new mobility beds in the Community Garden's raised bed area. This project gives the Community Garden a total of 6 mobility beds.

The NCK Wellness Center was able to add Pickleball programs to the center's offerings through a grant from the community foundation. The grant covered purchasing portable equipment to set up four courts at the center.

As the strength and conditioning program at Beloit Jr/Sr High School grows, the weight room requires more updating. One staple movement in the weight room is box jumps. These help improve power, force, explosion and the athletes verticals.

“We were able to kick off the fundraising for this project thanks to the community foundation. We raised over $26,000 total and a big start was this $3,000 grant,” said Rabe. “Our downtown sound system has made a very positive impact in our community.”

Visitors will now be able to enjoy views of the Waconda Springs Replica through a viewfinder along the bluffs of Glen Elder State Park.
