SVCF Announces Dream Big 2.0 with $70,000 in Community Impact Grants
Solomon Valley Community Foundation is excited to launch Dream Big 2.0, a county-wide initiative offering $10,000 in non-competitive Impact Grants to all 7 incorporated towns in Mitchell County.
As a result of years of successful Match Month campaigns, and with the support of the Patterson Family Foundation, SVCF is excited to set aside $70,000 to make an immediate impact in Mitchell County.
SVCF Executive Director Julia Rabe said, “We are thrilled for the opportunity to partner with each of the 7 towns in Mitchell County. We hope this $10,000 non-competitive grant will create an immediate, tangible impact across the county, empowering all our communities to come together and Dream Big! We can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with!”
Dream Big 2.0 kicks off this month and runs through 2025. To qualify for the grant, each town will be expected to hold a community-wide Strategic Doing. The first community meeting has already been scheduled for October 21st at 7 pm in Simpson, KS.
More details regarding the 6 remaining town’s community-wide Strategic Doing meetings will be coming soon.
